Sample PG file
dkbf stands for Distributed, Keyboard, Brute-Forcer. It is now a distributed version of the program L0phtCrack, without the dictionary attack. dkbf will attempt to crack the Windows Lanman and NT Hash passwords whose hashes were obtained via sniffer or SAM dump. Process distribution is handled using the Message Passing Interface (MPI). In order to run the program, you will need at least one Linux box with MPI. The more boxes and CPUs you can cluster, the faster dkbf will run. All boxen must be on the same LAN.
What's better L0phtCrack or dkbf? Another factor to consider is that dkbf does not use routines that are as fast as those in L0phtCrack's commercial version.

Can dkbf crack anything else besides Windows passwords?
